The hotel is a fantastic base for exploring the World War II sites in Normandy. It's conveniently located between Utah and Omaha beachheads, making it easy to visit both. The value for money is great, as we got to stay in a historical chateau with modern amenities. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a variety of local products like homemade jams and cheeses.
No significant issues, everything was fine.

On my new year's visit to a chateau in Normandy, the surroundings were lovely- opulent decor, rich breakfast, and beautiful gardens. They also offered free Wi-Fi and easy parking for our rented car. The location made it a great place to stay while exploring the beaches and historic sites in the area.
It was not all sunshine and rainbows. The staff seemed distracted and overworked, leading to less than satisfactory service. The rooms were dingy and lacked necessary amenities, with thin walls that made it difficult to sleep soundly. a disappointing experience that could have been so much better with improved customer service and updated accommodations.
